Once my team and I narrowed down our three favorite ideas we began prototyping them. Using the new "Collaborate" feature of Unity 2017, we were able to easily create repositories and share our work with each other from an early stage. It was decided that a fair use of time would be for me to develop a single prototype while my programmer handled the other two. During this time, our artists started creating rough models for us to use instead of placeholder assets so we could better illustrate the intent of each prototype to an audience for critique. As the prototypes became more sophisticated in their functions, the art assets were gradually implemented at the speed of their completion. By having all three prototypes functional by the end of this sprint, we leave ourselves open to creating more content and levels which we can then bring on to QA.

Outside of directly developing games, my earth science class has undertaken the task of building and planning a flower garden to aid the honey bees at the Champlain College Apiary. Due to the undeniable similarities this project has with our Gardening/Bee Game concept, I proposed to my team that we attempt to somehow join the two. The team agreed unanimously to pursue this possibility and I am now scheduled to meet the apiary director about how we might incorporate them. If this is possible, then the team would be moving forward with the Gardening/Bee Game and scrapping the other two.
